Chapter 1

"Almost done!"Crafter said eagerly,sweat dripping from his brow.His tired,ancient purple eyes where lit up with anticipation and deligt.
"Oh.That's not right."he said.He looked down at the box of spare parts,his dolls were almost finished,all they needed were eyes,but he only had three."I guess I'll have to use one for each."
He picked up a sky-blue orb and placed in a tiny hole,it fit perfectly.He did the same for the grass-green and amethyst orbs.
"At last!They are complete!"he picked up one of the tiny people,it had long blond hair,and a beautiful blue eye."You shall be Mist,and you Dusk."he smiled as he pointed to a pale and rather gothic doll,its inky black hair was sprawled out over the old steel table,and the dark tangles only made her green eye look bigger and more vivid.
"And what about you?"
In front of him lay a bronze-skined doll,its long black hair gracefully ruffled as he picked it up,and stared into a single purple eye.
"You look so much...brighter.So much more vivid.You are like,the miracle we have lost for so long...You are like the sun."
The Dust Doll suddenly had an idea.
"You three are all something the Dust and Humans haven't seen in centuries.You are the shroud that hides the truth,Mist.You are the darkness that lurks within,Dusk.And you...you are the light that dispels the lies,you are...you are the new day,Dawn."
He smiled and left the room,satisfied with his work.
"I hope you all bring back what was lost."
